The role she played as Frances Houseman, a romance drama film about the romance between two lovers, earned her international fame. Other feature films she has appeared in include Red Dawn (1984), The Cotton Club (1984), Bloodhounds of Broadway (1989), Bounce (2000), Redbelt (2008), The Wind Rises (2013), In Your Eyes (2014), Duck Duck Goose (2018), and Bittersweet Symphony (2019). Grey's work on television began with Murder in Mississippi (1990), Criminal Justice (1989), and If the Shoe Fits (2019). She also starred as Kelly Carter in the comedy Red Oaks on Amazon Prime Video. Grey has voiced in both film and television as well, including her voice in the 2018 film Duck Duck Goose and the animated television show Phineas and Ferb, which she created in 2008.
