Aahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980) was better known by her stage name Sarah Shahi, an American actress and former model. She was Carmen on The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw on the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). [2] She was also part of the main Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and in a role of support in Alias. She was also a star in Reverie in the series Reverie, which premiered in 2018. She was a recurring character in the show City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[55. She also appeared in seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic character Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. In the set, she was invited to move to Hollywood and received roles in Alias as well as Dawson's Creek. In 2005, she played the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as a supporting character on The L Word. She was a part of the show's second season.
