Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake (born Beverly Louise Neill) was an incredibly well-known American actress. Best known for her role as actress Miss Kitty Russell from the TV show "Gunsmoke" however, she was also a popular American actor. Additionally, she has appeared in TV shows like "The Red Skelton Show", "Tattletales" and "The Edge of Night". Aside from numerous movies, she has also starred in a number of television projects, including Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho, ?Cattle Town ?, ?Miss Robin Crusoe $, 'About Mrs. Leslie ?TMs Life ?TM and le de France. The Adventures Of Hajji BabaA High Society, and more. Blake is a telephone operator by profession was a lover of animals. She and her partner Frank Gilbert and she were among the first people to breed successfully Cheetahs. The American actress was also among the co-founders for the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL). Blake was a former director of the Humane Society of the United States. Blake was inducted to the Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. She was also awarded with the Courage Award from the American Cancer Society.
