Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and musician from England. He was part of One Direction. Harry Styles was born in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, England on February 1, 1994, and is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. There as well as three of his classmates He formed his own band called White Eskimo. After they won the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to an excellent performance, they also participated in the Battle of Bands 2010. Although he has always had an interest in the world of music, despite his passion for it he wanted also to become a lawyer and physical therapist. He worked in a local bakery part-time to support his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in 2010 and was a part of Is not She Lovely, an iconic Stevie Wonder song. He was selected. The group was then forced to split up because of this. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles be part of a group called One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were founded in the year 2010. The five-piece band was sponsored by Cowell, and they performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Suck without You along with Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart. The group was among the most competitive groups in the contest. Despite this, they finished third, just behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell made a deal worth 2 million pounds with One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
