Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu is an American voice actress, producer, and vocalist. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to make it in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances on popular TV shows, she gained fame by joining the team of the legal comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. After her success, she landed important part on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). She then delivered a superlative performance in the role of Japanese crime lord O-Ren Ishii as QT's Kill Bill Volume 1. In the same time frame she was the main character in several flops in the field including Rise: Blood Hunter. Later, she became an actor in voice in animated films, including Kung Fu Panda. Mia Mason's tiny screen role as a character in Cashmere Mafia did not produce anything of note. An appearance in the critically acclaimed police drama Southland has helped her regain recognition as an established actress. Liu is careful when choosing roles in order to prevent being stereotyped within an industry that is highly competitive. Liu is also an accomplished artist who has not been limited by her race.
