Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American from Miami Florida. The girl is English and the other half Spanish. Parents are Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. His father was Argentine, of Scottish-English descendance. She is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor-Joy is one of the five children. Four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. After being with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. She refused to learn English and was hoping to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was forced to change schools. After that, she went to Queen's Gate School in London and took ballet classes and participated in drama productions. When she was 16, she quit the school to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy was born to be an actress at a young age. She realized her dream when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
